Special Weather Statement Issued For Suffolk County

The National Weather Service issued the following special weather statement for Suffolk County Friday night:

Fog has developed across the area this evening. Visibilities may be locally reduced to a mile or less at times, with a few spots having visibilities fall to a quarter of a mile or less. If driving, slow down, use your fog lamps or low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you in case a sudden stop is needed.
