T.J. Maxx Announces Opening Date For New Medford Store
Reusable bags will be given to the first 500 customers.

Discount retailer T.J. Maxx will open a new store in Medford right off the Long Island Expressway next month.
The company announced Tuesday that the new store at 1299 Horseblock Road will open on Sunday, Aug. 12.
“Our newest store in Medford will offer an ever-changing selection of high-quality, on-trend and brand-name merchandise at the amazing prices T.J.Maxx is known for," T.J. Maxx President Tim Miner said in a press release. "Our buyers create a unique mix that offers value for styles in every department, and we’re excited to bring this experience to a new neighborhood."

The store will be open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Aug. 12. Reusable bags will be given to the first 500 customers.
The 18,500 square-foot store is opening at the former location of a Staples. The new store plans to add approximately 60 full and part-time jobs to the area.

The store's regular hours will be 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday - Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
In celebration of its new Medford location, T.J. Maxx will contribute to the surrounding community by presenting a $10,000 donation to Patchogue-Medford Youth & Community Services at the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Aug. 12 at 7:30 a.m.
