Woman Charged in Burglary Caught on Doorbell Camera
Police are still searching for a man who served as a lookout during the burglary last week.

MIDDLE ISLAND, NY – Suffolk Police have made an arrest in a home burglary that was caught on a doorbell video camera last week.
Cheryl Liggon, 36, was arrested on Monday and charged with second degree burglary. The Mastic woman will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Tuesday.
According to police, Liggon entered a residence on West Bartlett Road in Middle Island as a man waited outside as a lookout at about 1:40 p.m. last Wednesday. Liggon stole assorted clothing, police said.

When a resident came home and saw the burglars, they fled with the proceeds, police said.
Police are still searching for the man, who was wearing a dark hat, glasses, a bright orange shirt and khaki cargo shorts.
