2 Merrick brothers win NY State Ice Hockey titles

GENESEO, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo senior defenseman Pat Condon and sophomore forward Conlan Keenan were named All-American by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA), announced Thursday night in Lake Placid, N.Y. at the annual banquet held on the eve of the Division III National Semifinals.

Condon closed his career with second-team recognition after also landing third-team honors as a sophomore while Keenan was tabbed a third-team honoree to become the 14th All-American in program history.

Condon finished the season tied for seventh among SUNYAC defenseman with 14 points including eight assists that tied for ninth. Also voted a SUNYAC First-Team All-Star, he scored two goals in the Knights' 7-1 victory over Fredonia in the SUNYAC Championship game and added a goal and an assist on two occasions this season, including a 6-2 win at Brockport.
