Lost since Oct 1st - Abused & Rescued Puppy Lost in Merrick

TODAY WE NEED HELP SEARCHING FOR SAZZY. Sadly, this story of a rescued dog has not received anywhere near the same attention as Buddy, a pup that ran away from a Wag! pet sitter; and, who was a companion for a 4yr old deaf child. After almost a month Buddy was found. The story of SAZZY is just as heartbeaking!! This female pup was abused by her previous owner. She was discarded and eventually found down south surviving on roadkill. Thankfully she was rescued and brought to Long Island. But, this is not where the story of Sazzy ends.

Sazzy doesn't know what it's like to be in a loving home, to play fetch...to run on the beach. Sazzy doesn't even know her name. This sweet pup loves other dogs but is scared of people. After 3 days of living with her foster family in Merrick, Sazzy ran away on October 1st. She's been seen from the Merrick Jewish Ctr vicinity all the way up to Meadowbrook Road & SSP.

Animal lovers, we are pleading for your help! If you see her take a picture, CALL/TEXT PAUL 631-793-3845 and follow her. DO NOT RUN TOWARD HER! She will get scared thinking something bad is about to happen and will bolt. Once again we need the help of the community to find a lost pup, to bring her home and to show her how great & happy her life could be with a loving family & tons of belly rubs!
