The team won a victory over Massapequa to clench their title.

MERRICK, NY — The Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District’s junior varsity Bulldogs ice hockey team won their Nassau County championship game March 12, 2-1 over Massapequa.

This is the second consecutive championship the team has won.

“We are so proud of the hard work, the sacrifice and adversity of this group,” said coach Andrew Smart.
