Crime Report: DWI Arrests, Items Stolen
The following arrest information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department; it does not indicate a conviction.
- Brendan Gahn, 34, of Merrick was arrested at George Court and Shore Drive and charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an incident on June 25.Â
- On June 26, items were removed from an unlocked car parked on North Hewlett Avenue.Â
- Sometime between June 26 and June 27, an unknown suspect stole a GPS from  a  vehicle that was parked in a  driveway on Illona Lane. No damage to the vehicle was reported.
- On June 29, a backpack, pocketbook, USC and other miscellaneous items were stolen from car that was parked in the Gap parking lot on Merrick Road.Â
- Salomon Samaniego, 30 of Jamaica was arrested in Merrick and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and three violations of the vehicle and traffic law.
