Crime Report: Fire Breaks Out on Sunrise Highway, Cash Stolen
The following arrest information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department; it does not indicate a conviction.
- Sometime between 6 p.m. on Dec. 9 and 7:30 a.m. on Dec. 10, $70 cash was stolen from a vehicle parked on Bond Court.
- The Nassau County District Attorney's office has decided to drop two of the four charges against a Merrick man who was involved in a head-on crash on Ocean Parkway on Dec. 10.Â
- On Dec. 17, a A tanker fire broke out on Sunrise Highway between Auto Zone and the Harley Davidson dealership, leaving families displaced.
