Crime Report: Merrick Man Allegedly Steals Sports Memorabilia, Men Found With Heroin
The following arrest information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department; it does not indicate a conviction.
- On Aug. 7, unknown suspects stole electronics from a boat at the Blue Water Yacht Club.Â
- Adam D. Gibson, 29 of Merrick was arrested on Aug. 8 after allegedly stealing thousands of dollars worth of sports memorabilia from a Westbury store.
- On Aug. 9, a fire ripped through the inside of the St. Demetrios Greek Orthrodox Church on Hewlett Avenue.
- Steven Small of Merrick was arrested on Merrick Road and charged with driving while intoxicated on Merrick Road on Aug. 12.Â
- Two men were arrested on Aug. 13 after they were allegedly found with 21 glassine envelopes of heroin.Â
