Former North Merokian Dorothy Boone-Connor Passes Away

Dorothy Boone-Connor, formerly of North Merrick, died on July 15.

She was the wife of the late Ronald H. Boone and the late Francello Connor. She was also the mother of Peggy and Dennis Weinand, Virginia and James Ficarra, and John and Diane Boone.

She's was also the sister of Florence Cocchi, Ronald and the late Howard Launsbach.

Visiting will take place Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the N.F. Walker Funeral Home at 2039 Merrick Ave. in Merrick. The funeral will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. at Merrick United Methodist Church. Internment will follow Nassau Knolls Cemetery.
