John Demario of Merrick Dies

John Demario of Merrick died on Nov. 18. He was 85-years-old. 

The retired New York City Corrections Officer was a devoted husband to the late Helena and a loving father to his children Bonnie Morrissey (Matthew), Frances Casaccio (Louis) and grandchildren: Katie, Matthew John, Jaclyn Lippolis (Christopher), Patrick, Michael and Christina. 

He will also be missed by his loving sister-in-law Frances K. DeMario, his cousin and best friend Josephine Chotras, as well as his beloved nieces and nephews.
