Kennedy Boys Volleyball Are L.I. Champs
Now they're heading to the state championships on Saturday.
MERRICK, NY - From Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District: It’s thrice as nice for this squad. Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District’s John F. Kennedy boys varsity volleyball team defeated Hauppauge High School on Nov. 11, clinching the Long Island Class B title.
“This is really an exceptional group of student athletes,” said coach Dennis Ringel. “They are senior-led, have great depth and truly love to play the sport.”
They defeated Bethpage High School in straight sets on Nov. 9 to secure the 2017 Nassau County Volleyball Championship. This is Kennedy’s third straight Nassau County Championship and their eighth in 10 years.

They move onto the New York State Championship, which will be held Nov. 18.
