Mangano Announces January Senior Activities in North Merrick
Programs will take at the Jewel Quinn Senior Center.

County Executive Ed Mangano recently announced that senior citizens will have an opportunity to fill the New Year with exciting activities in North Merrick.
The following activities will take place at Jewel Quinn Senior Community Center at the Brookside School:
- Art Class: The program presented by Melanie Wolf will take place on Wednesdays on Jan. 8, 15, 22 and 29 at 10:30 a.m.
- Lecture: “Nuts – Nutrient Comparison”: Hosted by Carrie-Anne Lorenz, the nutrition program will take place on Thursday Jan. 16 at 11 a.m.
- Health Assessment: The program presented by registered nurses Marianne Schere and Mary Ellen Kieran, will take place on Thursday Jan. 16 and Friday, Jan. 31 at 10 a.m.
