MERRICK, NY — Wellington C. Mepham High School will be hosting its 11th St. Baldrick’s fundraiser on May 27. This year's event will be an in-person event following COVID safety protocols and will be covered live by Bellmore-Merrick Broadcasting.

“We are so excited our students have already raised over $10,000 through online and cash donations,” Kerry Dennis, social studies teacher and event co-organizer reported.

The St. Baldrick's Foundation raises money to fund research into cures for childhood cancer. It is the largest non-governmental backer of research into juvenile cancer.
