Merrick Doctor Wins NuHealth's 2013 Heroes in Health Award

Roger Simpson, a Merrick resident and president of Long Island Plastic Surgical Group, recently received the NuHealth Foundation’s 2013 Heroes in Health Award.

Simpson, the director of the burn center at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow,  was honored for his devotion and leadership of health care services and education at the hospital. 

“I am extremely honored at being selected to receive this distinction from the NuHealth Foundation,” he said. “It has been my sincere privilege to serve the patients at Nassau University Medical Center and to have the opportunity to work alongside so many dedicated and gifted colleagues over the years.”
