Merrick Students Are Altruistic In Support Of Ill Children
The Levy Lakeside School Student Council donated to The Ronald McDonald House and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

MERRICK, NY — It's been a difficult time for many throughout the past year. The Levy Lakeside School gave back to the community by providing comfort to families with children who have life-threatening injuries, the district announced in a news release.
The student council, comprised of fourth, fifth and sixth graders, annually hosts a dance-a-thon to raise money for specific charities.
While that wasn't possible due to the pandemic, the school group donated $200 to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and The Ronald McDonald House.
