Merrick Students Selected For All-County And LISFA Festivals

Two dozen students from the Merrick School District’s three schools were selected to participate in the Nassau Music Educators Association All-County Music Festival concerts at LIU Post’s Tilles Center for the Performing Arts this January. Additionally, five students were selected to perform in the Long Island String Festival Association’s Nassau Intermediate Festival scheduled for March at Uniondale High School.

“It is our great privilege that we can announce another impressive number of student-musicians from the Merrick School District have been selected for participation in Nassau County's All-County and Long Island String Festival (LISFA) music festivals,” said Merrick UFSD Music Coordinator Dr. Richard Nasto. “Congratulations to all of those students and families – we are very proud of our Merrick music stars!”
