Merrick Theater to Show 'The Interview'
Merrick Cinemas is reportedly the only Nassau County theater screening the film Christmas Day.

Merrick Cinemas may be the only theater in Nassau County showing the controversial film, “The Interview,” on Christmas Day.
The movie announced on Facebook that it will show the Seth Rogan and James Franco farce about North Korea on Christmas, the date Sony originally intended to release the movie.
Merrick Cinemas will show the film five times on Thursday with showings set for 12:30 p.m., 2:55 p.m., 5:20 p.m., 7:45 p.m., and 10:15 p.m., according to Fandango.

Sony Entertainment announced it was pulling the film from theaters after hackers prompted an international incident. But on Tuesday Sony said it had changed course.
According to the movie’s Facebook page, 300 theaters have already signed up to show “The Interview,” with additional theaters being added to the list.
