Muscle Maker Grill to Celebrate Grand Opening Saturday

Muscle Maker Grill, one of Merrick's newest eateries, will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday.

The first 300 guests will receive a free T-shirt and there will be separate giveaways for gym towels and water bottles. All wraps will be $5 and smoothies and protein shakes.

The restaurant opened in the former Robek's building at 2261 Merrick Road in August. 

The franchise, which is located next to The Vine-Wine Bar, was founded in 1995 by Rod Silva who had a goal of offering people a nutritious alternative to fast food restaurants. 

The menu includes vegetarian, carb-free and gluten-free meals.  

Muscle Maker Grill has locations New Jersey, Florida, Pennsylvania. Illinois , Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, California and Texas.
