NORTH MERRICK, NY — The results are in, and the North Merrick School District's budget passed.

The vote was 1,611 to 1,099 in favor of the spending plan.

Incumbent Board of Education Trustees Tracey Miller and Ed Corona were both also returned to their seats, earning 1,346 votes and 1,321 votes, respectively.

All of the votes were cast by absentee ballot this year because of the coronavirus pandemic.
