First Snowflakes Of The Season Set To Fall On Long Island
A special weather statement has been issued for the island.

LONG ISLAND, NY — The National Weather Service has issued the following special weather statement for Long Island:
A period of light to moderate snow will occur late this morning and through afternoon across the New York City metro. A dusting to a couple tenths of an inch of snow may occur. Be alert for slippery road conditions and reduced visibility if traveling.
