Teen Driving Forum, Panera to Open

1. Panera Bread to Open: The first two-story Panera Bread on Long Island will open on Merrick Road on Monday. 

2. Driving in the Safe Lane: The  Community Parent Center in partnership with the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District and Legislator David Denenberg will present “Driving in the Safe Lane,” a lecture on safe teen driving, at the Brookside School on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

3. Board of Education Meeting: Merrick School District's Board of Education will have its monthly meeting on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

4. Cyber Safety: Dangers of Cyber-bullying, Social Media and Internet Safety: The program, presented by the Community Parent Center and the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District, will address the issues of cyber-bullying, social media and online exploitation. The event will take place at The Brookside School on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
