A recent study proclaimed Hudson Yards to be one of New York City's "neighborhoods to watch" in 2019. The study, conducted by the data whizzes at Localize.city, determines which city neighborhoods will be most appealing to New Yorkers looking to move in the next year.
A number of high-profile openings will make 2019 a busy year for Hudson Yards. Many of the mega-developments in the works since a 2005 rezoning of the area will debut in the coming year, including an office tower and hotel at 30 and 35 Hudson Yards and a 67-story office tower at 1 Manhattan West, according to the Localize study. The area will also see an influx of high-end retail when The Shops and Restaurants opens in March.
