Dream! It's a Family Festival

What: A free day of fun for kids up to age 12. Activities include storytime, arts and crafts, plant education and a musical performance.
Where: High Line at West 16th Street near 10th Avenue
When: Saturday at 10 a.m.

Indonesian Street Festival: Celebrating Our Ocean
Neighborhood:
Upper East Side
What: The fourth annual showcase of cultural performances, culinary treats and the most popular tunes of Indonesia’s signature genre, Dangdut, that make up the culture of this southeast asian nation. This free event is presented by the Consulate General of Indonesia. All are welcome.
Where: East 68th Street between Fifth and Madison avenues
When: Saturday at 12 p.m.

Migos Concert
Neighborhood:
Chelsea
What: A headlining performance from Georgia-based hip hop group Migos.
Where: Highline Ballroom, West 16th Street between Ninth and Tenth avenues
When: Saturday at 11 p.m.

Summer Matsuri
Neighborhood:
East Village
What: A free festival that celebrates Japanese culture with a day of food, fun and festivities. Register on Eventbrite to receive a free Calpico soda or Oi Ocha Japanese green tea.
Where: Fourth Avenue at East 10th Street
When: Sunday at 10 a.m.

Harlem Free Food Festival
Neighborhood:
Harlem
What: The final installment of this Upper Manhattan food festival, featuring a healthy-eating discussion, a film screening of China L. Colston’s “Sweet Thang” and free food for all Harlem residents.
Where: Marcus Garvey Memorial Park, Mt Morris Park West at West 122nd Street
When: Food will be served Sunday from 12 to 5 p.m. Screening will follow at 5 p.m.

Behind-the-Scenes Exploration At Abandoned Ellis Island Hospital Complex
Neighborhood:
Lower Manhattan
What: Take a tour through the now abandoned Ellis Island Hospital Complex. Visit the administration and ferry buildings, the autopsy area and gain exclusive access to the complex’s secret areas, which are normally closed to the public.
Where: Castle Clinton National Monument, Battery Park
When: Sunday at 11:30 a.m.

Kids’ Silent Disco And Pingpong Party
Neighborhood:
Lower Manhattan
What: Grab a headset and boogie down to your choice of three different music genres: top 40; 80s, 90s and 2000s throwbacks or hip-hop and R&B at this all-ages party. Pingpong tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Admission includes glow-in-the-dark gear for all party goers. This is a rain-or-shine event. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.
