Apple Bank's Seventh Ave. Branch Robbed: Police

The man handed a note to one of the tellers and demanded cash, according to police.

MIDTOWN, NY — Cops are searching for a suspect who they say walked into Apple Bank's Seventh Ave. location on Thursday and quietly robbed the place.

A little before noon on Dec. 1, the man handed a note to one of the tellers and demanded cash at a branch located at 371 Seventh Avenue., police say. The teller handed over the cash and the suspect then fled.

An NYPD spokesperson told Patch that they do not know how much money was stolen, and that the suspect did not have a weapon.

The suspect is described as between 45 to 55 years old, bald, and was last seen wearing a red and white plaid shirt, according to police.
