Rehive Fintech Hackathon
Neighborhood: Midtown
What: This 24-hour, pop-up event is part of a series of hackathons where developers, entrepreneurs and designers create financial technology-based solutions for our developing world. This year’s theme is problem solving in Africa. The series ends with a final Rehive Fintech Challenge later this summer.
Where: Rise New York, West 23rd Street between Fifth and Sixth avenues
When: Saturday at 9 a.m.

Day Trip To Wine Country
Neighborhood: Pickup in Murray Hill
What: Discover New York's Long Island wine country at Jamesport Vineyards, Palmer Vineyards, Martha Clara Vineyards, Pellegrini Vineyards and more during this daylong tour. Sip on four to five wine selections at each location, attend tastings led by industry professionals and munch on paired food. Special bottle discounts will also be offered.
Where: Bus pickup at 140 E. 41st St. between Third and Lexington Avenues

The Empire Rooftop: Pool Pass
Neighborhood: Upper West Side
What: Dive into this swanky hotel’s rooftop pool for the day. Full bar service and light food will be available. Each pool pass includes a complimentary towel.
Where: The Empire Hotel, West 63rd Street between Broadway and Columbus Avenue
When: Saturday at 11 a.m.

Story Pirates Flagship Show
Neighborhood: Midtown
What: The debut show for this sketch comedy musical based on stories created by elementary school students, featuring live music, puppets, costumes and props.
Where: Arthur Seelen Theater at the Drama Book Shop, West 40th Street between Seventh and Eighth avenues
When: The show starts Saturday at 12 p.m.

Bubbles, Beats and Brunch Party Cruise
Neighborhood: Lower Manhattan
What: A 75-minute yacht cruise with onboard DJ, bottomless mimosas, bloody mary bar and coffee and herbal teas. Brunch menu includes doughnuts, crispy fried chicken, waffles with toppings, vegetable frittata, cheese frittata, parfait bar and fresh fruit.
Where: Hornblower Cruises & Events at Pier 15, South Street at Fletcher Street
When: Boarding begins Saturday at 12:30 p.m.

Private Japanese Tea Ceremony Demonstration
Neighborhood: Upper East Side
What: Visit a secret, indoor Japanese tea garden and experience a traditional, Urasenke-style, Japanese tea ceremony led by a tea master. All tea and sweets at this event come straight from Kyoto, Japan, where Urasenke originated.
Where: Urasenke Chanoyu Center, East 69th Street between Lexington and Third avenues
When: Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

Aunt Jake's Pasta Making Classes
Neighborhood: Greenwich Village
What: Learn to create noodles from scratch with the help of Aunt Jake’s executive pasta chef and enjoy a post-class, family-style dinner with your fellow classmates. Participants can take their pasta home to enjoy at a later date.
Where: Aunt Jake’s, West Eighth Street between Fifth and Sixth avenues
When: Saturday at 3:30 p.m.

AutoCon

What: AutoCon is “a place where exclusive vehicle builds/projects are debuted, product launches happen, news is announced, and the future is introduced.” Check out one-of-a-kind vehicles and explore the world of classic and concept cars at this New York City auto show.
Where: Pier 94, 12th Avenue between 52nd and 54th streets near De Witt Clinton Park
When: Sunday at 1 p.m.
