SPECIAL COMPOST GRANT FOR 2021 NOW OPEN !
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the typical compost grant program offered by Citizens Committee for New York City (CCNYC) and the Manhattan Solid Waste Advisory Board (MSWAB) has been delayed until Fall 2021. However, MSWAB will fund three grant proposals for $1000 each to build a compost system that will be: 1) available to the public; 2) constructed by April 30, 2021; and 3) sustained for at least three years to help buffer the the temporary suspension of organics collections by NYC's Department of Sanitation and public organics dropoff sites due to the COVID-19 driven budget cuts.
