Developers File Plans For 7-Story East Midtown Building

The apartment complex will contain 15 units and feature residential amenities such as a yoga room, storage and laundry facilities.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Developers have filed plans to construct a new seven-story apartment building on an East Midtown side street, according to public records.

The development will rise 74-feet-tall at 244 E. 52nd. St., located between Second and Third avenues, and will contain 15 apartment units, according to building plans. With 20,048 square feet of space zoned for residential use, the average apartment unit will be about 1,336 square feet large.

Planned residential amenities at the building include an exercise room, a yoga room, tenant storage and laundry facilities, according to building plans.

The building site is currently occupied by a three-story building. Developers have not applied for demolition permits with the city Department of Buildings.

The developer of the new apartment complex is an entity called 244 E. 52 Owner LLC, according to building plans. Yehuda Mor, the managing partner of Minrav Development, is listed on building plans as the developer's representative, hinting that the LLC company is owned by Minrav.
