This Hell's Kitchen Thai Spot Is One Of NYC's Best, New List Says

A Hell's Kitchen eatery is a new addition to Eater's updated list of "28 Thrilling Thai Restaurants in NYC."

HELL'S KITCHEN, NY — A Hell's Kitchen restaurant has been named one of the most "thrilling" places to get Thai food in all of New York City, according to a newly updated list.

Eater's list of 28 exciting Thai eateries across the five boroughs was published Tuesday, building on the food outlet's 2017 list on the same theme.

Among the new additions to the list this year: Pure Thai Cookhouse, a neighborhood restaurant on Ninth Avenue between West 51st and 52nd streets.

Pure Thai stands out among the "dozens of Thai restaurants" along Ninth Avenue, Eater critic Robert Sietsema said, noting that it's part of a mini-chain that includes Land on the Upper West Side and Taladwat, the bygone Hell's Kitchen spot.

At Pure Thai, the emphasis is on noodle dishes from around Thailand, with standouts including duck noodle soup from Nakhon Pathom, crab and pork noodles from Ratchaburi, or the "best in town" curry puffs, Sietsema said.
