The incident snarled traffic on the N, Q, R and W lines much of the morning. All four were bypassing Times Square station in both directions. N and Q trains are running local between 34 Street-Herald Square and 57 Street-7 Avenue in both directions. Service was restored to normal by 11 a.m., but all of the lines were running with delays.
It was just two days ago that a woman was pushed in front of a train on the 1 track at the same station. She was also pronounced dead on the scene, and a suspect was arrested in the alleged attack.
