Man Killed in Apparent Jump From 22nd Floor of Palace Hotel
The FDNY responded to reports of a person who committed suicide at the swanky Midtown hotel early Tuesday.
MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A man was killed early Tuesday morning when he apparently jumped from the 22nd floor of the Palace Hotel, police and fire officials said.
The FDNY said responded to a call of someone who jumped from the building at 2:09 a.m. on Tuesday. A police spokeswoman would only confirm the person either jumped or fell.
The 36-year-old man was staying on the 22nd floor, police said. He was pronounced dead on the scene, officials said. He has not been identified.

The Lotte New York Palace Hotel at 455 Madison Ave. is a five-star hotel with 909 rooms. It is located right across the street from St. Patrick's Cathedral.
