Man Randomly Punched On Midtown Street, Dislocates Shoulder: Cops

Police asked for help identifying someone accused of randomly punching a 66-year-old man near Port Authority Bus Terminal last week.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Police are searching for a suspect accused of punching a man on a Midtown street and dislocating his shoulder in an unprovoked attack last week.

The assault happened around 8:20 p.m. on June 3 at a bus stop on West 42nd Street and Eighth Avenue.

The victim, a 66-year-old man, was approached by a man he did not know who punched him in the face with a closed fist. The victim fell to the ground, dislocating his shoulder and bruising his face, police said.

The victim was hospitalized in stable condition, while the suspect fled west on foot along 42nd Street.
