Date: Thursday, June 17, 10AM - 12PM EST
In response to the persistent anti-Asian attacks, AAF is partnering with the Center for Anti-Violence Education to hold an upstander training to equip New Yorkers with strategies to keep themselves and their community safe in the streets.
Join us for our Standing Up Against Asian Hate Upstander Training to learn how to safely intervene in the face of anti-Asian harassment. Through a two-hour interactive workshop, participants will have the opportunity to learn about and practice strategies to be “upstanders” in the current moment and help disrupt the wave of anti-Asian racism through safety interventions, de-escalation tactics, and calling-in strategies.
Spots are limited, so registration is required."
