Man's Body Pulled From East River, Police Say
The body of an unidentified man was pulled from the East River Thursday morning by the U.S. Coast Guard, police said.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — The body of an unidentified man was pulled from the East River Thursday morning, police said.
Around 7 a.m., police were notified that the U.S. Coast Guard had retrieved an unconscious man from the river near East 34th Street and the FDR Drive.
The Coast Guard workers brought him to the East 34th Street Ferry Landing, where paramedics pronounced him dead.

Police have not released the man's name. An investigation is ongoing and the medical examiner will determine a cause of death, police said.
