Midtown Streets to Close for Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton Election Night Events
If you want to drive around the west side of Manhattan on Tuesday, or even Monday, you're going to have some issues.
MIDTOWN, NY — If you were planning to drive around Midtown Manhattan early this week, you're going to have some issues. Both the Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump campaigns will be camping out in the area on Tuesday, leaving plenty of street closures, some as early as Monday.
The NYPD announced a handful of street closures on Monday, specifically in the area of the Javits Center, where Clinton will be holding her Tuesday night affair.
Monday "limited access":

- 11th Avenue between the West 34th Street and West 40th Street
- West 34th Street between the West Side Highway and 10th Avenue
Closed Monday 6 p.m. to Wednesday 6 a.m.:
- West 34th Street between the West Side Highway and 11th Avenue
- 11th Avenue between West 34th Street and West 40th Street
Also, due to Trump's slightly less crowded affair at the Hilton in Midtown, there will be a couple blocks closed off beginning at 6 p.m. on Monday:

- Sixth Avenue between West 53rd Street and West 54th Street
- Seventh Avenue between West 53rd Street and West 54th Street
There will also be closures beginning Tuesday morning outside of Trump Tower and the Peninsula Hotel.

- Full Street Closure: West 55th Street from Fifth to Sixth Ave
Trump Tower
- East 56th Street, from Fifth Avenue to Madison Avenue
