National Doughnut Day: Where To Get Free Treats Friday

MIDTOWN, NY – There are few better ways to kick off the weekend than chowing down on free doughnuts. National Doughnut Day is this Friday and NYC is celebrating it with some sweet offers.

Established by The Salvation Army 70 years ago, National Doughnut Day honors the “Doughnut Lassies” of WWI – volunteers who handed out coffee and baked goods to soldiers on the front lines.
