New 25-Story Hotel Coming To Midtown Manhattan

Developers filed plans to build the 168-room hotel with the city Department of Buildings this week.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Midtown Manhattan is due for another high-rise hotel. Developers filed plans this week with the city Department of Buildings to construct a 25-story, 168-unit hotel in the bustling neighborhood.

The new hotel will be located on Sixth Avenue between West 29th and 30th streets, according to building plans. The structure will rise 315-feet-tall and contain 77,891-square-feet of total buildable space. All of the square footage in the new building will be dedicated to residential hotel use, according to the plans.

The hotel will feature a plethora of amenities for guests including a coffee bar, a fitness room, a reading lounge, a conference room and an outdoor bar, according to building plans.

An anonymous entity called 842 Enterprises is listed on building plans as the developer. The firm AESI Professional Architecture will design he new structure, according to development plans.

Plans to demolish an existing seven-story building on the development site were filed last week, according to Department of Buildings records.
