New 29-Story Hotel Coming To Midtown
The hotel will be located on West 39th Street between Sixth and Fifth avenues.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Developers have filed plans with the city Department of Buildings to construct a 29-story hotel in Midtown Manhattan.
The new hotel will rise 447-feet-tall on West 39th Street between Sixth and Fifth avenues, according to building plans. The hotel is blocks away from popular tourist attractions such as Bryant Park, the Empire State Building and Times Square.
The hotel will contain 65 rooms as well as meeting spaces and an exercise facility, according to development plans. Some floors will contain five hotel rooms and others will contain only three, according to building plans.

Wei Hong Hu of the entity H Hotel LLC is listed as the building's developer on plans filed with the city. Peter F. Poon Architect is named as the building's designer, according to building plans.
Demolition plans for a five-story office building currently occupying the development site were filed in 2017, according to public records. The Department of Buildings issued a stop work order for the property on March 28 for work without a permit.
