2018 Youth Entrepreneurs Diversity Summit

Greenwich Village
What: Student participants will have the chance to listen to talks from industry professionals, take part in a pitch contest and learn more about becoming an entrepreneur at this daylong event.
Where: Squarespace NYC Headquarters, Clarkson Street between Hudson and Varick streets
When: Saturday at 8 a.m.

OZY FEST
Neighborhood:
Central Park
What: This two-day fusion festival is chock full of performances from famous musicians and comedians and speeches from authors, celebrities and more.
Where: Rumsey Playfield at Central Park, Fifth Avenue at 69th Street
When: Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

NYC MixCon 2018
Neighborhood:
Hell’s Kitchen
What: Learn to mix soundtracks, electronic music, R&B and more from the industry’s best during this two-day event.
Where: Manhattan Center, West 34th Street between Eighth and Ninth avenues
When: Doors open Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m. Last event begins at 6 p.m. both days.

Zero Hour NYC Youth Climate March
Neighborhood:
Midtown
What: Students across the city and throughout the country will gather to fight against the use of fossil fuels and nonrenewable energy by industry giants, asking policymakers for change.
Where: Columbus Circle in front of Time Warner Center
When: Saturday at 11 a.m.

Summer Saturday 2018
Neighborhood:
Upper West Side
What: An all-day, family-friendly event with live music, a puppet show, guided tours, face painting and an interactive art installation. All ages welcome.
Where: American Folk Art Museum, Lincoln Square between West 65th and 66th streets
When: Saturday at 11:30 a.m.

Wismettac NY Japanese Food And Sake 11th Annual Exhibition
Neighborhood:
Chelsea
What: This free exhibition of more than 45 Japanese food, liquor and knife companies allows attendees to be the first try unique ethnic dishes and test out brand-new products.
Where: The Altman Building, West 128th Street between Sixth and Seventh avenues
When: Saturday at 12 p.m.

NYC Photography Walk
Neighborhood:
Central Park
What: Take a tour of Central Park with your camera or phone and explore New York City’s bouldering spots, an old dairy farm, open fields, hidden bridges and nature trails from behind the lens.
Where: Meet in front of the USS Maine National Monument, where West 58th Street intersects with Columbus Circle.
When: Saturday at 2 p.m.

Fitbit Local Bodyweight Bootcamp
Neighborhood:
Midtown
What: Join your neighbors for this high-intensity workout led by Fitbit local ambassadors that incorporates bodyweight circuits and boxing basics.
Where: Union Square at East 17th Street, where Park Avenue South becomes Union Square East
When: Saturday at 3:15 p.m.

Harry Potter Brunch Trivia

Rose Hill/Kips Bay
What: Test your Harry Potter book knowledge and munch on delicious eats at this free trivia event. Register with friends and team up against your rival players.
Where: Abbey Tavern, Third Avenue at East 26th Street

Kids Party Cruise Hawaiian Luau Hosted By Moana And Maui

Kips Bay
What: Board this two-floor yacht for free face painting, balloon twisting, music, dancing, clowns, a magic show and more and get a chance to meet Disney’s Moana and Maui.
Where: Harbor Lights Cruise, FDR Drive near East 23rd Street
When: First boarding begins Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Second trip leaves at 2:30 p.m.
