PHOTOS: Blizzard Blankets Midtown, Hell's Kitchen

The blizzard that swept New York City on Monday has brought Midtown and Hell's Kitchen to a near standstill after dumping a foot of snow.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — The blizzard that swept New York City on Monday has not spared Midtown and Hell's Kitchen, bringing the normally-bustling neighborhoods to a near standstill.

More than a foot of snow had fallen by Monday afternoon, the most in nearly five years. Here are some of the best photos from the neighborhood that readers have sent us so far:
