MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Another skyscraper is coming to the Hudson Yards section of Midtown Manhattan.
Developers filed plans this week with the city Department of Buildings to construct a 43-story hotel on the corner of 11th Avenue and West 37th Street. The hotel, which is located across the street from the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, will rise 487-feet-tall and contain 531 rooms, according to building plans.
The entirety of the new development's 212,866 square feet will be zoned for commercial use, according to building plans. Guest rooms will begin on the fourth story and continue to the forty-second story, according to the plans. Planned hotel amenities include an exercise room, a lounge bar, offices and meeting rooms.
