Plans Filed To Convert Hell's Kitchen Garage Into Apartments
The new development would contain just four apartments.

HELL'S KITCHEN, NY — Developers have filed plans with the city Department of Buildings to convert an existing one-story garage in Hell's Kitchen into an apartment building.
The new development would rise 65-feet-tall and contain four apartment units, according to building plans. The units on the third and fourth floors would be complimented by private mezzanines, according to the plans.
With a total of 3,852 square feet zoned for residential uses, each apartment will be about 963 square feet large, according to building plans.

Residential amenities in the new building will be scarce. Currently plans only call for a recreation room and storage in the building's basement floor.
No plans have been filed to demolish the existing one-story garage on the site.

The developer behind the new apartment building is listed as Galahad Realty Corp., according to plans filed with the city. The firm SBLM will be tasked with the building's design, according to plans.
