Popular Ample Hills Creamery Opens Bryant Park Scoop Stand
The popular Brooklyn-based ice cream chain has set up shop in the Midtown park, in time for summer.
MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — People who flock to Midtown's backyard green space can cool down with a sweet treat this summer, thanks to a new Bryant Park scoop stand by the Brooklyn-based shop Ample Hills Creamery.
The stand, which opened Thursday, will be open Monday through Friday, serving a rotating menu of flavors. It sits on the north side of the park, near 42nd Street.
Founded in 2010, Ample Hills now operates nine locations across the city, including three in Manhattan. The chain was sold last year to a manufacturing company after declaring bankruptcy due to financial issues that predated the pandemic.
