MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Ralph Lauren is hiring a new company to manage its ritzy Midtown restaurant, but the move should not result in any workers losing their jobs, according to reports.

Operations at the fashion brand's East 55th Street restaurant, The Polo Bar, will be awarded to New York-based firm Apicii, the New York Post first reported. Chicago-based Gibsons Restaurant Group previously helmed the eatery, according to the report.

In good news for restaurant employees, a notice filed earlier this month with the state Department of Labor warning that 156 workers will be laid off will not come to fruition, the Post reported. Apicii is expected to retain the restaurant's wait staff, according to the report.
