Window Washers Injured After Fall From Hudson Yards Scaffolding
FDNY had to rescue both workers, who fell 20 feet and became trapped on the roof, according to a report.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Two New York City window washers were injured Saturday morning at Hudson Yards after a scaffolding they were on failed, causing them to fall 20 feet to a floor below.
An FDNY spokesperson confirmed to Patch that firefighters responded just after 11:20 a.m. to 30 Hudson Yards, where both the scaffolding and the workers had fallen onto the roof of the 35th floor.
Unable reach the workers due to the structures height and with no time to wait for a ladder, the spokesperson said, firefighters cut a hole in a 37th floor window both workers.

A report by the New York Daily News initially reported the workers had fallen 20 floors.
The report also said the workers were two men, one in his 20s and another in his 30s.

The FDNY spokesperson said both workers were taken to Bellevue, where one was treated for minor injuries. The other was described as being in serious but stable condition.
