MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Four small buildings in the heart of Midtown are set to be torn down, according to permits filed with the city this week.

Demolition permits were filed Thursday for the buildings at 8-16 West 45th St., between Fifth and Sixth avenues — a few blocks north of Bryant Park.

The buildings, which stand 3, 4, 6 and 7 stories each — house a row of shops, including Ambrosia Deli, the Point Break bar, and Jean's Silversmiths.

The name listed on the permits is Lori Buchbinder, a principal at the realty firm Buchbinder & Warren. A broker at the company declined to comment Friday when asked about its plans for the properties.

No new construction permits have been filed for the site, and this week's permits included no timeline for when demolition would begin.
