She-Robber Hits Chase Bank in Murray Hill: Police
A woman in her late 30s, wearing a peacoat and a baseball cap, was caught on surveillance tape slipping a note to the bank teller, cops say.

MURRAY HILL, NY — A calm weekend day in Murray Hill quickly turned into a scary one on Saturday afternoon when a woman robbed a Chase Bank at 2 Park Ave., according to police.
The woman walked into Chase Bank's branch at 2 Park Ave. at 3 p.m. on Saturday and passed a note to a teller. The note demanded what police say was an undisclosed amount of cash, and the teller proceeded to hand over the cash to the suspect.
The suspect, who cops say is in her late 30s, immediately fled the scene with the cash, and police do not know where she went from there. A police spokesperson told Patch that she did not use any weapons or make any threats during the robbery. Police said on Monday that there were no updates on the amount of cash stolen from the bank.
