Sleep In Bryant Park For Valentine's Day, Travel Company Offers

A travel company is offering couples the chance to book a one-night stay in the unusual lodging this weekend for just $14.21.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Unique Valentine's Day experiences may be hard to come by this year, but an overnight stay in Bryant Park would certainly fit the bill.

The unusual lodging is being offered by the travel company Booking.com, as part of a campaign, "Love Letters to America," dedicated to the places that people have missed visiting during the pandemic.

Billed as Bryant Park's first-ever bookable accommodation, the company will offer two separate stays for two couples inside the Midtown park’s Polar Lounge, which is normally an event space.

The two overnight stays on Feb. 13 and 14 will cost $14.21 each, the company said. They can be booked online starting 2 p.m. Friday, and will go to whoever grabs them first.

Guests will spend part of their stays in a temporary igloo, where they will be treated to hot chocolate and other treats, midnight ice skating, a gift card for shopping at the Winter Village market and dinner from the Bryant Park Grill served by room service, the company said.

Last month, the Bryant Park skating rink and holiday market were extended through March 28, marking the first time that they will ever be open into the spring.
