Suspect With Discolored Teeth Up to Four Bank Robberies in Crime Spree
Police said the man in his 40s or 50s robbed three more banks this week after first striking on Aug. 26.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A Midtown bank robber with poor dental habits struck three more times in the past week.
The man first robbed a Santander Bank right across the street from Macy's flagship store in broad daylight on Aug. 26. He struck again on Sept. 1 at a different Santander Bank location at 866 Eighth Ave., between West 51st and 52nd streets at 6:50 p.m. This time he "pressed a hard object against a security guard's back," according to police, and then approached the bank teller and demanded cash. He was given an undetermined amount of money and fled the scene, police said.
The third incident occurred Sept. 6 when the suspect entered a Chase bank at 245 Seventh Ave. in Chelsea at 5:15 p.m. Police said he approached a bank teller and passed them a note claiming he had a gun. However, the teller walked away from the window and the suspect fled without any money, police said.
