MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — An Uber driver was stabbed in Midtown Manhattan on Thursday by another driver in a "road rage incident," police said.

The Uber driver, a 25-year-old man, was driving on Thursday afternoon on 50th Street between Sixth and Seventh avenues. An NYPD spokesman said that he was stabbed in the arm at about 4:40 p.m. during a "road rage type of argument" with another driver. The Uber driver was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said. Additional details about the argument were not immediately available.

No one was immediately arrested after the stabbing and police are still investigating the incident and searching for the other driver, the spokesman said. (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)
